After a long and grueling battle with internal server errors and MySQL databases, I\u2019m proud to present the blog at Amy Yao Design! I\u2019ll be posting new designs here as they\u2019re created, as well as links to some of my other articles.<\/p>\n
There will also be a few bona fide blog posts thrown in the mix, the first of which I am currently a week overdue on. I chose possibly the worst time to create a blog\u2014on the road in the middle of Minnesota, with spotty Internet connections and miles upon miles of flat farmland. My family and I are en route to Denver, Colorado, from our home near Albany, New York, on a month-long road trip in a rented minivan.<\/p>\n
Basically that means I will be packed into a car with my two younger siblings and forced to sit through countless replays of Kung Fu Panda, one of the five DVDs they brought with them (sadly, the DVD players in the car do not accommodate Blu-Ray discs, so no Harry Potter for me!).<\/p>\n
But I won\u2019t bore you with the details in my inaugural blog post. A day-by-day guide to our adventures\/mishaps\/debacles will be coming very soon, mostly in the form of a photo journal, courtesy of my father\u2019s pet SLR.<\/p>\n
