What\u2019s that costing me?\u201d \u201cAbout $300,000.\u201d \u201cMust have been some lousy jackets.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1312.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-244 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1312\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1312.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1359.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-245 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1359\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1359.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The town was gorgeous, especially how all of the buildings were made of stucco, and blended perfectly into the natural landscape. We found out that it\u2019s a requirement for the construction companies to make the buildings as unobtrusive as possible.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1389.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-246 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1389\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1389.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We stopped by Sonic for lunch (our first time ever!), and got thoroughly overexcited when the girl rollerbladed our food to us.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1437.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-247 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1437\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1437.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1449.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-248 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1449\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1449.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1514.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-249 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1514\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1514.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Luckily, we made it to Four Corners National Monument (the location of which is given as Colorado) before it closed at 8pm. We met some other families while we were busy taking as many photos as possible, and discussed the controversy surrounding the Four Corners location. Apparently the site has been verified by the Department of the Interior, though there had been widespread speculation that the real Four Corners was some 1800 feet away from the monument.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1551.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-250 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1551\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1551.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1590.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-251 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_1590\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMG_1590.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As of today, we\u2019ve officially begun to turn around and head back east.
