All of the geysers and hot springs were pretty cool, but most of them smelled like death&#8230; I recommend looking at pictures. All the coolness but none of the stink.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I described never wanting to smell sulfur ever again. Today, the smells were, if anything, even worse than before.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9214.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-164 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9214\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9214.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But first we woke up right next to Old Faithful.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9262.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-165 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9262\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9262.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"818\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although it didn&#8217;t really compare to Beehive Geyser, shown above, which rocketed into the air about four times as high as Old Faithful did.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9317.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-166 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9317\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9317.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Soon we made it to Yellowstone Lake, and its accompanying hot springs, all of which were beautiful and terribly smelly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9321.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-167 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9321\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9321.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9335.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-168 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9335\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9335.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9380.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-169 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9380\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9380.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"818\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This one, shown above, is called Dragon Mouth Hot Spring.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9455.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-170 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9455\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9455.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yellowstone&#8217;s Grand Canyon! I got very confused when I heard we were near the Grand Canyon, I assumed they meant the one in Arizona, and I wondered if I really had mixed up my geography that badly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9497.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-171 aligncenter\" title=\"IMG_9497\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.amyyaodesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_9497.jpg\" width=\"545\" height=\"363\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The wildlife here, especially the elk shown above, weren&#8217;t afraid of us at all.
