Day 13: Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Salt Lake City, Utah
Helloooo, Jackson Hole! We bought some shed antlers on our way out, and Ben is full of plans to make his into a slingshot.
And now Idaho!
…And now Utah? We are certainly all over the place.
We did stop for a two-hour sailing respite on Utah’s Great Salt Lake, which was just the thing to end a stressful day of driving.
The lake was perfectly idyllic. We were one of only two boats out on the water, and we could see Promontory Point in the distance, where the Golden Spike was driven into the connection of the railroads.
Not much to report today, I guess. But what a relief to be able to relax, and to be back on the water.
